Judi Bola, Mpobos.com- Last time out in LaLiga2, Cadiz managed to take a point in a goalless game away to Ponferradina.
However, it has to be said that if any of the teams deserved more, it was definitely their opponent who looked way sharper in the attack.
Especially in the first halftime, while the second was got more opened overall but with neither of the teams being able to make the difference.
It was the hosts who pushed more but in a pretty uncreative way. Towards the end, Cadiz played with a man less as defender Quezada (3/0) got red-carded in the 85th minute, so without any doubt, this result comes as a satisfying one.
Cadiz continues to lead the table with five points more than the second-placed Almeria, but now with just one victory in the last five rounds and a victory here is their top priority. The team got excluded from the Cup after penalties away to UD Logrones, but probably not having their focus there either.
Defender Quezada (3/0) is suspended for this one. A defensive midfielder and team captain Jose Mari (16/0) remains injured and out. Defender Jimenez (17/1) and midfielder Garrido (19/0) are out due to accumulation of yellow cards.
Mirandes comes from a goalless game at home against Sociedad, as the team looked like a real favorite before the match but completely failed to deliver it.
They even missed the penalty kick in the 15th minute, not showing much since then. It was actually Santander who have created more and looked more dangerous, as well as having better ball control overall on the field.
It was their draw after two consecutive wins, as the side stands now just a point behind the playoff zone. However, with a weaker record on the road and that’s what makes this match a very challenging one for them.
Forward Mario Barco (7/1) is out injured for the guests, as well as defender Franquesa (15/0).
They did get the progress further in the Copa del Rey match away to UCAM Murcia after a 2:2 game in the 90 minutes, getting the progress thanks to a goal from Rey in the 114th minute.
As already said, there’s no doubt that the players of Cadiz are taking this match as serious as possible. I expect them to react here, especially since Mirandes does accept goals way easier on the road.
Pick : Cadiz To Win
