Judi Bola, Mpobos.com-Milan did what was needed in order to take a narrow 1:0 victory last Friday night away to Brescia. The only goal came in the 71st minute via Rebic, as the guests really struggled to get the controlling role on the field and didn’t actually impress that much.
Actually, they were supposed to impress, but the team wasn’t that creative nor attacking as expected. Still, it was an individual quality difference that brought them victory, even though the players of Brescia did show quite a lot during the game. Even have threatened in a bit more concrete way overall in the second halftime especially.
It was their third consecutive victory in Serie A now, as everything around the club seems different and improved after the signing of Ibrahimovic. The team is now sharing the sixth position and still has a real chance of reaching something meaningful in the season.
This cup competition is one of the ways and no doubt that everyone in the club will be fully motivated for this clash.
Central defender Duarte (5/0) is out injured, same as right back Calabria (13/0) and defensive midfielder Biglia (7/0).
Torino got completely outplayed and crushed in their home game against Atalanta conceding seven goals last Saturday night. It was players from Bergamo who have shown far more creativity and effectivity during the entire game, creating actually chance after chance and fully deserving such a victory.
It was especially obvious in the first halftime, while Torino did create slightly more in the second but without any kind of success.
This was a second consecutive loss for Torino in Serie A, as the team remains on the safe position for the moment, but will hardly be able to get involved more seriously in a European tickets race. They are currently four points behind such positions, but they need way better defensive stability.
The guests should miss left defender Ansaldi (13/4), midfielder Baselli (15/0) and striker Zaza (13/3) due to injuries. Midfielder Meite (18/0) is suspended.
The momentum is completely now with AC Milan and even if not, the players of Torino can’t be in any kind of satisfying form and morale after seven goals conceded to Atalanta.
With improved form Milan has, it’s really difficult to see anything but a convincing home victory.
Pick : Ac Milan -1
